This wonderful Penny Black "Friendly Flower" image was sent to me by Nancy (directmailscrapper) for her Virtual Swap at The Stamp Shack. I am in *love* with it and had a great time coloring it in with prismacolor pencils. I don't even want to tell you how long it took me. :/
I tried a variety of different layouts for this card and finally settled on this very simple 5x5 square. Don't you think the image speaks for itself?
For the sentiment on the inside, I was thinking of something to do with friendship and flowers, such as:
"If friends were flowers, I'd pick YOU!"
“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.”
"If I had a single flower for every time I think of you, I could walk forever in my garden." ~ Claudia Ghandi

Pam....that is oh so pretty. I need to take a Prismacolor pencil class from you. Do you use mineral spirits? or a blender pencil?
You are absolutely right. The image speaks for itself!
