Happy Everything Peeps! It's April Fools Day, Palm Sunday and SPRING is in the air! We have had unbelievable weather here in Nebraska lately and I'm enjoying every minute of it! : )
Once again, I've combined my two favorite challenges to come up with this creation. The colors are from this week's
Colour Q Challenge by Arielle Gordon. Aren't they *perfect* springtime Easter colors? I think so!
And you've gotta ♥ this
Sweet Sunday Sketch by Karen Giron! The little ribbon tabs make it extra special and oh so *sweet*! May I let you in on a little secret wish of mine? I am *really* hoping Karen will ask me to be a guest
Sweet Sunday Stamper someday. ; ) For now, I just keep stampin'!
Now, that I'm looking at the photo, it is a little dark. In real life, it is a very bright, happy card! The card base is a 5-1/4" square of Tempting Turquoise. I've cut out the h a p p y letters with the Cricut Lite "Cherry Limeade" cartridge. They are glued onto a piece of white paisley embossed cardstock by Doodlebug Design. This piece is stitched onto the yellow Daffodil Delight.
Happy Happy! :) The ribbon and buttons add some flair!
Here is the inside finished to coordinate with the front with a button flower and ribbon tab. The stamp Be Happy Every Day is by Hero Arts. If you have any questions or comments, let me have it! I ♥ hearing from all of you!
OH! I almost forgot the blog candy! I have a brand NEW April 2012 issue of Scrapbooks, Etc. to give away.. .
I've been doing a little scrapbooking lately and recently subcribed to this magazine for inspiration. I had already purchased the April issue locally when I received it in the mail. Silly me. If this is something you would like, please let me know in the comments. If there is more than one of you interested, I'll do a random draw on Wed night and get it mailed out to you later this week. Just be sure I have a way to contact you for your address, ok? It really is a *great* magazine!
Thanks so much for blogging by today! Now, I need to link up my post to the challenge blogs and then get outside and enjoy this beautiful day! I noticed a few minutes ago that our apple tree is starting to bloom! This is way earlier than normal so I just hope we don't get another freeze.
Enjoy your Sunday!
