I've finally finished up the beach card sets that I created for my sister Judy, in California, and my daughter Katie, in Hawaii. When I saw this Emerson stamp "I'm in a Meeting" I thought of them both instantly!
Since I was making so many at one time, I went with the assembly line method and first stamped all the images. Then, I spent a good deal of time coloring them with prismacolor pencils. That's the FUN part for me and great therapy! :) I pretended I was on the beach myself while I sat on the patio coloring. lol
After that, I cut out all the paper and assembled. These cards are 6 x 6 folded in half and they have matching envelopes. (Stampin Up! small open end) I put the sets in clear acetate bags and tied on a coordinating tag. The tag sentiment is "My heart smiles with thoughts of you."
I hope they like them...and use them! :)

Great cards!
Wow, these just pop! They look great! I'm sure they will love them, but they may have a hard time giving them away! (I know I would!) :D
I love these! And I have to have that stamp!
Your coloring is so pretty on these, and I love the patterned paper you chose - perfect! Now if only I could actually be THERE when I'm in a meeting....
So adorable, Pam. When we were in Mexico there was a bar on the beach called The Office, so you could say "sorry I'm stuck at the office". Your cards reminded me of that.
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful gift. You did a great job! Perfect colors and papers! I'm sure they'll use all but one to keep and save for themselves.
sweet! can't wait!
OH I just LOVE these!
