{MOJO155} Happy Mojo Monday!

Blessings to each and everyone of YOU on this glorious Labor Day Holiday!

Are you finding time to relax and enjoy the day?  I hope so!
(  Thankfully, I am. : )

It's been ages since I've participated in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge and today the sketch popped right out at me from Julee Tilman's blog~ Poetic Artistry.  I ♥ it!   I think Julee's MoJo Monday Sketch Challenge was one of the first to arrive on the blog scene, wasn't it?   It's one of my FAVS, that's for sure!   This week's sketch is no exception. The circles are always so fun to create with and now that I've borrowed my sweet dil Jami's Cricut, I can cut circles of any size to my ♥'s content!  Tags too!

This card isn't exactly my style... if I have a style!  hee hee

I decided to use one of my newly acquired estate sale stamps {N204 Tea Time by D.O.T.S} because I thought it would be an especially nice one to color and practice using my Copic markers.   Does anyone know if the D.O.T.S. Co. is still in business?  I rarely see their stamps used, but I've got an entire box of them here to use now!  : )   Unless I decide to sell them.  I'm thinking they need more ♥ than I can give them.  ; )

My card is a 5-1/4" square, using pink passion cardstock for the base, I layered on pixie pink with the designer paper pieced and zig zag stitched on top.  The dp is from an 8.5 x 8.5 pad from K and Company called Berry SWEET.   I didn't realize until now that the big flower in the bottom print is partially hidden under my circle and looks weird.  Oh well.

the inside - with the tag that was too large for the outside

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.  It's always a pleasure to hear from my readers!
Thanks so much for blogging by and do stop back again soon, ok?

Happy Stamping!

Such a pretty card! I think D.O.T.S was the original to Close To My Heart. I have quite a few D.O.T.S. stamps but not this one!

I love it! DOTS is still in business. They just changed their name to Close To My Heart several years ago.

This is a beautiful creation! With your talent you really should consider entering the challenges over at Papercraft Star http://www.papercraftstar.blogspot.com they are offering a lot of prizes right now too!

Yes they are still in business. I believe the DOTS stood for Dozens of Terrific Stamps and the owner Jeanette Lynton changed the name to Close To My Heart years after first starting to make stamps in her basement. Check out their website, it is a huge great company now out of Utah! Love the stamp set you used here, if you decide to sell some of those stamps let me know. I am an avid tea party goer and a Close To My Heart consultant and would love to have some of her old stamps. ascrappingdiva.blogspot.com.
