{CCQ14} You're Never More Than a Thought Away!

Happy Weekend! Lucky for me I've found another spectacular challenge to play along with today. It's the ColourQ Challenge hosted by the amazing Arielle. . .

How about this mix of colors? WhoooWeee! Don't they just radiate SPRINGTIME?! And since the actual temp this morning when I woke up was nearly 20 below zero, I am *really* wanting to THINK SPRING! :)

As you can see, I'm continuing along with my "distressed" kick because you've all been sending me such sweet comments and I'm feeling the *love*! ;) There is really very little stamping on this card. I've used one of my new clear mount sets from the Stampin' Up! SALE-A-BRATION promotion. It's called Whimsical Words and you can get the set of 6 sentiments *FREE* with any $50 order. Gotta love *FREE*!

The designer paper is from my stash and I've layered it onto Kiwi Kiss and Rich Razzleberry with a little random stitching to spice it up. I've used Orchid Opulence as my card base and stamped it with the Stampin' Up! linen background stamp inked with Rich Razzleberry. All the distressing on each layer is also done with the Rich Razzleberry ink pad.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I don't usually include the "recipe" or a lot of details because I think most of you probably just view the photos and blog on. Is that right? Or do you want to hear about all the products I've used? Let me know and I'll do whichever you prefer, ok?

Also, if you're still with me here...what do you think of a "RIBBON SHARE" with all the new Stampin' Up! 5/8" satin ribbon? I would *really* like to get all the colors but that adds up so fast if you get the full 15 yd spool at $8.95. I'm going to see if I can't figure out how to do this and in the meantime, please let me know if you're interested, ok? The colors are listed on page 27 of the OCCASIONS MINI....basic black, real red, chocolate chip, certainly celery, pretty in pink, bashful blue, very vanilla, old olive, basic gray.

Bless you all for the comments you've been leaving me lately! And, guess what?! I've almost got 100 followers too! :) I know, it's the little things that make me happy. ;) If you're not already a "follower", please consider signing up on the link to the left. It's a great way to keep up on all your blogs. I use Google Reader and it's GREAT!

Talk about rambling today....yeeks! Off to figure out this ribbon thing...

Have a WARM & WONDERFUL Weekend, my friends!
Quote for Today ~

To be healthy, wealthy, happy and successful in any and all areas of your life you need to be aware that you need to think healthy, wealthy, happy and successful thoughts twenty four hours a day and cancel all negative, destructive, fearful and unhappy thoughts. These two types of thought cannot coexist if you want to share in the abundance that surrounds us all. - Sidney Madwed

Gorgeous! I'm really enjoying your distressed kick you are on. It isn't something I do and you really are giving good examples. And your color combos are just awesome. I love the colors in this card.
