Oh Mercy! {Splitcoast Featured Stamper}

One of my favorite bloggers has been selected as this week's featured stamper at Splitcoast Stampers!

Congratulations to Mercy Kerin from Lord Have Mercy!

When I saw that Mercy was chosen, I was doing the happy dance for her! I've always admired her fabulous creations and her blog is a great source of inspiration!

To see Mercy's card that I cased, click on this link. You'll notice that I've used the same Stampin Up set ~ Thoughts and Prayers ~ and the same basic layout, but I've changed the colors and, instead of paper piercing all around the layers like Mercy did, I decided to zigzag stitch with my Janome Sew Mini.

If you want to view Mercy's incredible creations at Splitcoaststampers, her ID is mkstampin74. Or, be sure to stop by her fantastic blog ~ Lord Have Mercy! You'll be so glad you did!

This has been such a nice relaxing weekend for me and I hope for all of you as well. The weather was much better than expected with plenty of sunshine today! Hubby and our son, Andy, planted a "celebration maple" tree in the front yard and DIL Jami and I planted onions and potatoes in our little garden.

Have a wonderful week dear friends and thanks so much for stopping by. Have I told you lately how much I enjoy your coMments? They really brighten my day and make me SMILE!

Quote for Today ~

OMG Pam! This is so stunningly beautiful! I love those papers, and the way you stitched the layers instead of piercing them...you did an absolutely gorgeous job!

You sure do know how to make a girl feel good, sistah! All of the props and saccarine lovin'...pour it on me! LOL! It sure has been fun seeing everyone's creations...I feel like such a lucky girl!

This is so pretty. I adore this stamp and have wanted to purchase it. It is nice to see it made up into a card giving me ideas for a card to go with a prayer shawl for our church's ministry that I make the cards for. Thanks Pam!
