Happy Fall, Y'all! {Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #24}
This is my creation for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #24. Her blog, "Fresh & Fun", is one of my favorites and she is one of the BEST of the BEST! Her talent is amazing and she continually inspires me.
For this standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card, I've started with Stampin' Up Pumpkin Pie cardstock folded at the top. I layered on the autumn leaf patterened paper by Karen Foster. You may not be able to see it in the photo, but there is a sparkle around some of the leaves. This was a "free" pad of paper that I got at Archivers for spending $50 last time I was there. The image is from my DIL Jami's new Stampin Up set ~ "Seasonal Whimsy". I almost bought this set and wish I had! I love it! Here, I stamped it with my Pumpkin Patch Kaleidacolor Spectrum Pad. The sentiment "Happy Fall" is a little $1 Michaels stamp. I've layered Stampin Up cardstock really rust and ruby red. The edges are distressed with ruby red.
Happy Fall, Y'all!
Poem for Today ~
I love the leaves
I do not know why.
Is it their colors or how they fly?
They crunch and crinkle
Under my feet;
I pile them up
And take a leap!

Lovely!
Pam, this is so pretty! I already admired it on SCS. Love the stitching you added around the image and the three spots on the sentiment!

This is such a a gorgeous card. I adore the way you stitched on the sentiment. I think I need one of those inkpads...such a wonderful color spectrum.
Wonderful challenge card, love the colours
Love this ... the sponging on the DP really adds depth to the design ... fun stitching too.
I am sooooooo far behind on checking my Google Reader, but I see that you've been stamping up a storm!
Love your challenge card, and the Halloween box is just too adorable!

And it gave me an idea of a card I want to try next time I get a minute :)
As always....LOVE your stuff Pam!
When you gonna come to Washington and be my personal instructor? ;)
I got the same paper when I was shopping at that Archivers too. Love the image on the card. Really illustrates the winds we have.
