Top 'O the Mornin' to Ya!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Are you wearing GREEN today? I wore my light green sweater with a smiley face St. Patty's pin to work, but now I'm changed into my cozy red plaid flannel comfy pants and sweatshirt. Would you believe we woke up to S*N*O*W this morning?! Ugh! It's supposed to be SPRING!

In celebration of this fun Irish holiday, I'm going GREEN this week and plan to post a green card each day! I've always thought that blue was my favorite color, but I have more GREEN patterned paper and cardstock than any other color in my stash.

This card was created using Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #39, but I added the scalloped circle to it, simply because I wanted to use the *lucky* four leaf clover stamp. It's difficult to see in the photo, but I paper-pieced the clover with some light green patterned paper. The stamps are from a $1 Michaels acrylic set by Studio G and the shamrock paper is by the Paper Studio.

I hope your day is blessed with a bit of Irish luck, brightened by a song in your heart, and warmed by the smiles of those you love. Cheers! Pam :)

Quote for Today ~ An Irish Blessing!
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Word of the Day ~
mellifluous \muh-LIF-loo-us\, adjective: Flowing as with honey; smooth; flowing sweetly or smoothly; as, a mellifluous voice.

Supplies ~

Stamps: Studio G
Ink: Stampin Up garden green
Paper: the Paper Studio - Shamrocks on White; My Mind's Eye light green solid; DCWV green cardstock.
Other: extra large green eyelets (We R Memory Keepers), light green grosgrain ribbon-JoAnn's Craft Essentials.
