Thoughts of You . . . { Scalloped Punch Week - Card 4 }

Last weekend, I found this neat little stamp in the $1 bin at Michaels. Isn't it great? I stamped it using Versafine onyx black on white cardstock and then punched it out with the mega circle punch. It needed some color, so I used my prismacolor pencils to bring it to life. : )
In this case, I stamped and colored the image before I had any idea what my card was going to look like. Then, I sorted through all my blue and green cardstock to find something that would "go" with it. This patterned paper is from a Stampin' Up! line that was sold last year in a mini catalog. For the scalloped giga circle and the card itself, I used SU bashful blue. The green paper was put through my Cuttlebug with the Script embossing folder to give it some added texture. The two side tabs were created with the SU word window punch, cut in half.

Just tonight, I heard from a friend at The Stamp Shack that another "shackie" is going through a tough time right now. This card will be going in the mail to her tomorrow with some positive thoughts! Thank you all for stopping by today! Stay tuned for another "punch card" tomorrow! Smiles, Pam :)

Now why don't I ever find those precious stamps in the $1 bin?

Your card is soooo pretty. Love the blue and green, and the texture added by the Cuttlebug embossing.

Those tabs just seem to frame and complete the card perfectly. This has been a great week! A card and a quote each day.

I was just at a Michael's in Vermont today and had this stamp in my hand. I put it back - and now I am kicking myself. I love what you did with it.
I hope they still have it when I go back next week :)

Great job.
