Winter's Profound Beauty ~

These photos were taken out my front window this morning. I was trying to capture the beauty of it all...everything coated with a layer of ice. Yes, there is a profound beauty in WINTER...

Quote for Today ~

"There is nothing in the world more beautiful than the forest clothed to its very hollows in snow (ice). It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every spray, every blade of grass, every spire of reed, every intricacy of twig, is clad with radiance." ~ William Sharp

what lovely pictures! I know ice is a nightmare to drive in, but to look out your window and see this kind of wintry beauty - what could be better? TFS! Just gorgeous!

I agree it can be profoundly beautiful but does it have to be such a pain as well? LOL TFS the great pics!
