Happy Hello! I hope you're finding time this weekend to do something that makes you *smile*! For me, that means spending time in my craft room! :)
I've been seeing several cards lately with these sweet little paper lace doilies so I picked up a couple packages and gave it a whirl. What do you think? Aren't they pretty? I did use a few of them on Valentine's, but I think they can work for any occasion too.
This card is a 5-1/4" square of Pear Pizzazz with a piece of pink and green plaid cardstock from my stash. (DaisyD's - Birthday Plaid) I zig zag stitched around the plaid paper, attached the doily & ribbon and layered the plaid onto the cardstock base. The cute little felt flowers are from Stampin' Up! and I'll admit that I've been hoarding them. Why? Because I ♥ them! ;)
Sending Happy Thoughts your Way! : )
Quote for Today ~
We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have. ~ Frederick Keonig

Love the cards, such pretty colours and of course I adore the doilies, who wouldn't? The stitching around the edge of the circle, how on earth do you get it so neat? It's amazing, I'm envious of your talent!
glad to see you stamping more again! I love both of your doily cards.
thank you so much for the LOVELY card you sent me. I haven't been online much. Seem to have a little relapse with the pneumonia.
Hope you are staying warm up north!
Hi Pam!
Love BOTH cards!!! Don't you love days when you can just craft allll day long?
And here I went and replied to your wonderful comment before checking your blog and finding you have not one but TWO cards today - be still my heart LOL!
Fabulous use of the doilies on both cards. Love the felt flowers on the first one and the sponging and button on the second. Well done on both :)
What a pretty card. I love the colors and the pretty little felt flowers. I've been using doilies a lot. I love them
Pam, You know I love these two cards!!! I mailed the pink flower one to my Mom today. She will love it the best she can. She gets pretty confused these days but she will at least know I'm thinking of her and I love her.
