SNOW DAY! :D

YES! Today has officially been a SNOW DAY as we cannot get dug out! The wind continues to blow like CRAZY and the temps are bitterly COLD too! The last I looked it was ZERO with who knows what kind of bizarre windchills. I don't even want to know! LOL

I took a couple photos earlier today of our view out the back door to the deck. Note, this is up off the ground at least 4 ft or so. The photo below it is of the view from our picture window in the living room.

Hubby and I ventured out to see how bad it looked down by the highway and I snapped a couple photos before my camera and my eyeballs froze up! Here our driveway doesn't look too bad, but there is a LOT of snow up by the garage doors and on the slope down to the highway.

This one below use to be a very pretty drift in the backyard. It's NOT so pretty anymore!!! ;) Seriously, it is covering our kitchen window so we can't see out and no light can come in. Oh, and our redwood deck is under there somewhere too!
Jim and I have both lived in Norfolk, NEBRASKA all our lives so we've seen some pretty good snowstorms, but nothing like this winter! WOW!! It sounds like it has been an unusally cold and snowy winter all over the USA and I'm sure many of you could tell your own stories. I would love to hear them...and see your photos too!! :)

On another note, I've been wanting to plan a SALE-A-BRATION OPEN HOUSE, but who wants to get out in this weather and brave the elements?! Besides, you can't get to our front or back door either! LOL! SOoooo, in the meantime, let me remind you there is ONLINE SHOPPING available! Just click on the link here on my blog and ENJOY!! If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask me. I would *love* to help you!

I hope this post didn't make your teeth chatter. ;) Sending you warm hugs!

Now, I'm going to go dust off my treadmill and surprise it! About time!

You have got A LOT of snow up there! You can have it - we have enough but on that note I had to go to work because I could get there. The kids have been off school for 2 days now. Gail S.
P.S. Didn't comment yesterday but your card is gorgeous!!!! I love it.

Oh my gosh this is unbelievable..Looks like the snow storm we had in IL back in the 70s. We are getting freezing rain here in NC..I think I am thankful..LOL.

Oh my goodness Pam! I made my husband get off the couch and come look at your pictures. That is just unreal!! Actually not all of the states are having an awful winter. Last winter we had one snow storm right after another all the way through March. This year, not a flake! Just rain and wind with a few sunny days thrown in occasionally.I'll check out the sale site, but in the meantime, stay warm dear stamping friend!

OMGosh, Keep safe Pam!!! Make sure all your exhaust vents are open... you sure did get "DUMPED" on! Makes for great stamping weather, but not for an Open House is right!

Keep warm... we have the cold, but no snow since Christmas!
