Distressing with Dapple Designs!

Last week I mentioned that I had a couple more cards to show you that I created especially for the Ink-A-Palooza challenges at The Stamp Shack.

This card was for Tami's {Teabear} "Distress Delight" challenge. Check out the awesome tutorial on her blog at Dapple Designs. Tami is the queen of special ink techniques and convinced me to try this!

In fact, it was so FUN, that I made another one... :)

I hope you're all having a terrific week! Tomorrow is FRIDAY! YaY! :) It's been a bit stressful at work lately and that makes me enjoy my weekends more than ever!

Thanks for stopping by! Smiles 2 U,

Thought for Today ~

During my second year of nursing school our professor gave us a quiz. I breezed through the questions until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely this was a joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times, but how would I know her name? I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Before the class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our grade. "Absolutely," the professor said. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say hello." I've never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy. ~Joann C. Jones

Both cards are beautiful, Pam! You seem to have the knack for the distress backgrounds.
