{MoJo Monday Sketch} No Matter the Weather...

... I'm glad we're together!

This sentiment is quite appropriate today because our weather forecast is not good! It seems like they are wrong more than they're right about the weather these days, so time will tell if we get a BLIZZARD tonight like they're predicting! Right now it is blustery and gloomy outside and sleet is starting to hit the window. Ugh!

But, one good thing....it's a PERFECT DAY to be indoors stamping and creating cards! :)

I've had this fantastic MOJO Monday sketch on my desk all week just waiting for a major dose of mojo. I love this layout and was hoping to do it justice. I started with these super cute little Changito monkeys {thanks for letting me borrow your set Jami!} and colored them with Copic markers. The papers I've used are all from my scrap stash and I selected them after I colored the image. I prefer to do it the other way around and usually color the image to coordinate with the paper I want to use. The photo below is of the inside of the card. I used the scalloped circle on the left to cover my brads so they didn't show. :)

I haven't done much stamping this week, but I have accomplished a few things...like labeling my punches and new stamp sets. One thing I've started, but have yet to finish is a reference notebook with photos of ALL my Stampin Up sets. I'm not certain the best way to go about this, but have started by printing photos I've found online. I really don't want to stamp every set. That would take me forever! I've got so many sets that I neglect to use and thought this would be a great way to know what I have without looking through them all on the shelf. If you have any suggestions for me, I'm all ears! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I *love* and appreciate all your comments and best of all...it leads me to your wonderful blogs! Happy Stamping!

Smiles,

Cute card. Love the image and you colored it beautifully. I like your idea of making a reference book of your stamps. It takes forever to look through your stamps and decide what to use. Great job on your card:)

The snow has hit SF, and in a big way! Just starting to stick on the ground now. Love the card and the extra touches on the inside to cover the brads. Great idea!

okay, so I posted the above comment under the wrong heading, it was for the notebook. LOL!!

So did you get the blizzard? We did, what a mess! Thankfully we didn't get the 9-12" they said we were going to. But then again as hard as the wind blew, who knows!
